Servants of the Archangel Michael

What happens when a lively Episcopal parish takes its mission to serve seriously? Michael is the Archangel who leads the angelic forces in the wars against Lucifer. Michael protects, and then weighs each soul at its passing. Servants of the Archangel protect the church, each other, strangers seeking sanctuary. And they are called to protect justice, weighing good and evil and fighting for right outcome. In each stand-alone story community members are transformed by their service, and they transform the church. Prayers, descriptive passages, liturgy, meditations, and short poems salt or sweeten each story, and are used to thread the stories into an arc for the Servants of the Archangel Michael as a whole.
